After the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary, the world sent 65,000 teddy bears in memory of the victims. In the decade since, thousands more bears have been placed in memorials for school shooting victims, giving what was once a symbol of childhood innocence a darker new meaning.

Sandy Hook Promise wants to give children their childhood back and bring and end to school shootings.
